If the name check is over and they can also assign a visa number to low hanging fruits and give out a GC... I don't know whether its linked to PD or Receipt Date because there were posts about EB2 05 getting GC...:confused:

I wouldn't export it from photoshop at all.
Are you sure the tutorial called for you to export from photoshop? Can you provide a link to the tut?
I would:
Save for web as a png or a jpg, depending upon which looks better. Then choose "import" in Flash to import the object. I'm not 100% sure, but I think that you can directly import photoshop files into Flash as well. This could be useful if you have a many layered photoshop file which contains things like imported illustrator elements and such. I believe that the import keeps all the layers in place, as grouped object.

Why blame USCIS when you classify yourself as EB3!
Your profile says you are EB3. I hope it was put by you not by USCIS.
May be your I-140 was also for EB3, a misclassification by you. Do you remember?

But, when we say something is wrong we should know what is right in the first place, we are more than happy to accept the truth, if you can share with us.

Thanks. I did contact USCIS and they have accepted my request to expidite the cast. It is to be seen if it will actually happen.
My other question is, if my renewal does not come through in-time, since the renewal application is in system, can I continue working after the expiry of my current EAD? Or do I have to quit the job and/or leave the country?

Hi, I have got my GC couple of months back, planning to start a restaurant business and want to leave my current employer who sponsored my Green Card. Is it fine to leave my employer and start a business? Does it creates any problem in future when I apply for citizenship as Im into different field.
Please do advice accordingly as I need to take decision based on that.

it was Ok long time back when unemployment rate was not high. Now you might certainly be questioned on the year without work. When you are hired on H1 it is asumed that you would be continuously employed for the period specified on the H1. If the company had to send you off, they actually should have cancelled your H1b and then rehired you when work is available. That is the essense of H1b. I understand your situation but personally feel it is incorrect legally to go about this way. Finding a good explanation for one whole year without work would be pretty difficult. If this were possible why would the so called contractors not resort to bringing in people whenever need arises and sending them back once the project is done?? If you could stay without work outside the country for so long.

We took an infopass appointment at the Local USCIS office to get a temporary proof of our permanent residency status. Can anyone suggest us what documents to show ?
As I understand we need to show passport , driver's license,485 approval notice, police report and I-90 application.
Is there anything else that we need to show?

We are planning to go to India in the last week of September. My current AP expires by Oct 10. Hence applying for a new one. How long are AP approvals taking now a days at TSC.

I am in the similar situation but we never know when and what documents are needed since every day immigration law is changing, keeping that in mind, I renewed mine and my spouse�s EAD

There is no need everyone to be able to see personal details of the IV members. The admin should keep this list securely locked and use only when appropriate. A lot of bad things can happen if this data is open for the public.

The online status of your H1 petition is irrelevant when you obtain a SSN card. If the SS people are making it a problem, what they are doing is ILLEGAL. They probably lack essential training for a SS employee. They should accept the notice you show them as proof of approval. If they do not, they are supposed to accept your application for a SS card pending further verification, where they manually contact USCIS and verify your approval (through electronic SAVE, or traditional SAVE forms).
If they refuse, demand to ask for a supervisor, and explain that online statuses sometimes never get updated because USCIS is not required to do so.

I take my words back. I did not posted any Indians Pic with President and I Have respect for Indians who reached to this level and can feel the pain of a fellow immigrants. Unfortunatey people like them dont even think they are INdian anymore. thats why I dont see any reason why try to feel happy for them because they just have Indian name.

Please let me know, based on your personal experience, Does Change of Address 'triggers' an RFE from USCIS????
I recently found a project (after many months) and am working for this new employer on EAD. However, I have not vacated my old apt....still paying rent and keeping it as my current one, and sharing accommodation with others in the new city where I am working....because of the only reason that I fear, which is an RFE.
Please let me know.
