Count me as anti-semitic also :).. Hence why the USA is falling apart because of the jewish led Bilderburg group of Totalitarian corporations and the architects of the NEW WORLD ORDER.

Sadly after the MBP update I don't see this happening. The MBP rev isn't to bad for an incremental upgrade but it really doesn't represent what I was expecting for a revision. If any thing this revision seems to have provided some distance between the MB and the MBP. I could be wrong of course, but I now suspect that Apple will try to trim the MB and reduce its heat signature. That is the MB could be waiting for lower power devices from Intel which probably aren't 64 bit.

Hopefully, the next update will be C2D MacBook :D

So, are the days of "buy the full version/suit once - get a upgrade for 1/3 of the price with your license" over??

These ******s are just stupid. Destroying every new gadget that comes out because they are high school dropouts with no income source... I hope they try blending butane tanks next. That would make my day!
Are you insane? This is amazing marketing. Not only do they show how great their blenders are but they piggyback on apples <insert other brand> marketing dollars at the same time. These guys are genius.

From the 'Steve Jobs boasting' rumors earlier, it would seem to suggest that the iPhone is way better than anything out there, so I wouldn't be surprised to see some form of pocket apps in a business version (a la PocketPC pda phones), with just itunes & other stuff in a standard consumer version.
Any thoughts on ipod accessory compatibility - like will the nike+ module just fit into the bottom of the iphone like it does on the nano?
That is true. If it were just a phone and he was trying to squeak into the market, he might not be boasting so much.
And wow that would be SO crazy awesome if the Nike thing did work with the phone. Good thought. I hope they do have some comptability...and imagine the form factor it would take, I would assume it might with at least earphones and chargers.

Yawn.
Wake me up when it supports Exchange 2003 just like all of their Windows versions.
Que the one MS fanboy who will say it's old tech and Microsoft will never support it.
Guess the team that works on Office 2010 for the PC never got that memo since that works like a dream with Exchange 2003.
Or, you could be like the Office for Mac team and happily keep your head in the sand.
Wake me up when Office for Mac finally has OneNote.
Note: Yes, I've tried all the OneNote alternatives. They all suck. All of them. None even come close. Maybe all of them combined could equal OneNote's functionality, but naturally that's not the case.

would you have problems if they banned Islam from France?
If they ban all religion, I'd buy a one way ticket for the next flight to France.
I just hope the plane doesn't crash into a regional jet on the taxiway (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/42548948/ns/travel-news/) :p

This will work because it neatly sidesteps the fundamental issue that plagues glasses-based 3D.
There are two component parts to stereoscopic vision: the focussing of the individual eyes and the convergence angle between the two eyeballs. Millions of years of evolution has linked these two sub-systems together in the unconscious. In order to view 3D images on a screen using 3D glasses, the individual eyes need to remain focussed on the physical images on the screen, while the convergence of the two eyeballs needs to change in order to track the virtual images that are appear closer to or further away from the viewer. This requires the decoupling of the focus from the divergence, requiring an almost conscious effort, leading to the fatigue that many have experienced.

In this modern age where the players are 'athletes' are they still allowed cucumber sandwiches and scones or is it all isotonic sports drinks now?
I wouldn't be surprised if they were slurping beer (ale of course) at the intervals, though Strauss must have needed something to boost him in his seven hours yesterday.
No rain today I think - we will have to play our sox off. Here we go....!

Pretty sure OWC noted that they only found it to be SATA II.
Anyone have a link? My guess is that the optical bus may still be II but I'd be shocked if none of the busses were III considering the last updates of laptop had it.
EDIT: Found it, looks like it's all still II. Wow, that's a major drag for a machine like this, particularly one that is offered with SSD options. They BETTER not botch this on the next update to the Mac Pros (which needs to be sooner rather than later).

all i know, i want one when it comes out.
:D
Yeah about that. While I reserve the right to change my mind, I just dont see myself getting one when they come out. But then again, stranger things have been known to happen, and the thing could just be oozing sex... Lets just say its gonna take a lot to make me fork out an extra $179 (in addition to the $300 the phone might cost) to terminate my current contract :(

Xserve lags so far behind the Mac Pro in release, costs much more, has little to make it better and just as much to make it worse. I would love to have an Xserve, but I don't understand why anyone would buy one.
It's for buisnesses. It whouldn't be very practical for an individual. It whould be cool, but damn expensive to maintain for just one person.

Are you arguing for argument's sake? I don't know what you are getting at here...Why would you want to second-guess what someone wants? What are your criteria? Either criminalise the behaviour or don't for your own reasons, but please do not try to act in other peoples' best interests when you do not know what those interests are.

I took this to mean traffic as in network traffic. iOS devices, and all new smartphones, utilize a lot of network traffic. It wouldn't surprise me if they were looking at more robust ways of utilizing traffic, compression, etc. I'm not sure how they would collect traffic data. I suppose if they see a cell signal sitting in the same place for 20 minutes, it would reflect a traffic jam. But then again, they could have parallel parked and went to go grab a Starbucks.

Ok, see that is where I was going with posting this article. I was wondering if it were even possible to hold on to a windshield wiper blade for that length of time? I mean, wouldn't pressure or force or something cause the blade to snap? They just don't seem that strong.
Climb onto the front of a minivan and get someone to drive it at 30mph: I suspect you will find the aerodynamic pressure quite impressive. The keyword here is "minivan". Those usually have rather more vertical noses than your typical automobile, so the air pressure will tend to pin you onto the front.
